Thurrya is a Chennai based professional photographer. She was inspired to take up photography as a career when an earthquake in Nepal destroyed most of the beautiful monuments that she had captured during a college trip merely ten months before the disaster. The encouragement she received from her family and friends led her to start, Thurrya Vontivillu Photography blog. Later, she went on to pursue a photography course at Light and Life Academy,Ooty. Now fully geared with training from LLA, she takes up food and product photography projects and travels during her spare time.
